It was always going to be a big ask for the 5 MkII’s & 2 Marders on the left flank to stop the two platoons of Russian light tanks (7 Honeys + 7 T70’s) but they could try & delay until the other flank might be won.
The German attack on their right was delayed while they exterminated a Russian attack in the centre. Before it could get back into gear and take their objective the battle was won by the Russian tanks on the other flank.
Next week:
Thursday.
