Jim's Germans v. Renfrey's Brits: 1260 pts, 10'x6' table.
Turn 0 deployment within 24" of own table edge. Germans on far side.
4 objectives: The 2 bridges & the 2 T junctions (one off shot on the left).
The Brits moved quickly to sieze the 2 bridges.
The Germans grabbed the 2 T junctions.
Aided by accurate mortar fire, the Germns destoyed the Brits holding the LH bridge & took that objective. On the fra flank the Germans were unable to stop the Brius taking the T juctiion from them.
By tuirn 5 both sides had 2 objectives no real hoipe of gainiung more, but the body count favoured the Germans & they pulled back their left to ambush positions at the foot of the far hill & dug in around the objectives they had.
The Brits conceded that they ahd no hope of taking out enough German units tochange the balance, so a minor win to the Germans thru destroying 2 more units than they lost.
