A simmilar scenario to last week. I rejigged the battlefield & forces a bit.
Chris & Mark: Scots
SteveJ & Mike: English
Both sides had 5 P&S,. 3 musketers & 8 cavalry.
Objective to control the road running from left to right.
Deployment zones: Within 18" of own table edge.
The English advanced to contact on the far flank, to the river in the cntre & down the riverside on their left.On the far flank the English cavalry front line was broken & their second line with drew.
In the centre the English are pushing forward through the farm. On the left, fire is being exchanged accross the river. In the centre, the English have crossed the river to enagage & the fight in the farm continues. On the left, the English got the worst of the firefight accross the river & both sides fell back.
In the cnetre, the English have pushed the Scots back & gained the road and the farm.
On the far flank, the English second line was regrouped & returned to the fray.
At this stage both sides had lost about the same in broken units, but the Scots had more units shaken & the English were very close to gaining full control of the objective road. The Scots conceded the battle.
