Napoleonic: French v. Austrians

Same armies as last time.  Terrain tweraked abit.  Battle fought crosswise.
Austrians: Jim & Mike.  French: Mark.

View frim behind Austrian right.
The Austrians initially advance cautiously on the whoel front.
The French are sending their cavalry reserve from centre to left & advancing into the central farm.
On the near flank, the Austrians pull their cavalry back in the face of superiot numbers whioe light troops skirmish in the orchard.
In the centre the Frencj deploy onthe river line while the Austrians pull back out of artillery range.
On the far flank the Austrians have adavnced around the French right flank which has been pulled back to the river line.

At this point the French decide to retreat while the going is good.
They were reluctant to chance a cavalry attack on the right as it woull be 50/50.
The centre wa s stalemate.
On the far flank the Austrians had deployed a massed battery & a ring of muskets aimed at the angle & the French decided they couldn't counter the inevitable converging attack hat.

Have decided that, we decided it would be fun to actually fight the cavalry battle.  The French actually won the cavalry fight, but with significant cost & their infantry was held off in the fields & they could not exploit the win.
