Nick's travels - Walt's Basement

Walt Leach is a fixture of the DC gaming scene.  I was invited to his place, and it was a veritable Aladdin's cave of gaming goodness.  I got to see a lot of gamers I hadn't seen for a long time -- Kevin Swanson, Joe Walkonis, Bob Luddy, Jeff Wiltrout, Walt leach (of course), and my good friend and erstwhile ancients doubles partner Bob Nedwich.  There were some new faces, and I am sure I am forgetting an old face or two!!!

Everyone was playing 'Art De La Guerre', which is the new ancients hotness.  From chatting to people:
- FOG is dead, replaced by Art De la Guerre.
- Not many people play Hail Caesar in the DC area, although there is some Black Powder (probably for all the ACW gamers)
- FOW is dead -- one gamer complained he couldn't find local opposition.  Which doesn't seem to gel with the local game store that had TONS of stuff.

Tip of the trip -- Walt had all of his stuff in Map Drawers, and apparently these are available from Ikea!!!!  More research needed!!!!
