Mare Nostrum Campaign Ends

After 3 months real time and 10 years campaign time our Mare Nostrum ancient campaign has come to an end.

After a bit of a flurry in turn 9 it ended with a bit of a whimper when at the end of turn 9 there were no real opportunities for anyone to force a battle to take an extra province in the one remaining turn. 

Rome, Pontus, Germanica & Egypt are tied with 4 provinces each.  Carthage, Gaul & Numidia have 2, Spain & Macedon have 1 and Seleuicia & Greece have been eliminated.

The umpire, Peter Collidge, did a great job herding a bunch of devious self-interested bastards.  We all had a great time, and really enjoyed it.  Well done Peter!
